Bain de forêt du printemps (sylvothérapie)
Nature trips, Workshops
Forest baths are reputed to have numerous benefits, as measured by Japanese scientists under the direction of Dr Quin Li. They are called Shinrin Yoku in Japan. They help to reduce cholesterol levels, balance blood pressure, lower cortisol levels (the stress hormone), improve sleep and concentration, and support the immune system. Forest bathing is an enchanted interlude, a relaxing, soothing break that ultimately gives you renewed vitality. The guide will help you to take your time, to let go of your mind, by developing your 5 senses and your imagination to approach a certain state of mind, described as "open" towards "tree beings". Among the trees, you are invited to rediscover your subtle, invisible roots, to unfold and, under certain conditions, to access new knowledge, starting with knowledge about ourselves and our history.... The aim of this outing is to feel the support of the trees and their vibrations, while encouraging you to put down roots. Slow, silent walks and guided meditations will open you up to the forest and its plant and animal life. There will be time for participants to share their feelings. Everyone is welcome to express themselves, without judgement. Sylvie, trained as a "Humanist Forest Bath Guide" by Glenn Delaval in 2022, and based mainly in La Forest-Landerneau, will guide you to discover the secrets of the trees near the Basilica, on the health trail and in the Creyer wood.
