Curieux Mexique – Projection du film documentaire “Mëjk” de Carlos Pérez Rojas

Screening of the documentary film “Mëjk” by Carlos Pérez Rojas as part of the CURIEUX MEXIQUE programme organised by the Cap Sizun actors’ collective.

The new schoolteacher arrives in the village of Tamazulapam Mixe in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. We follow him as he takes up his post, settles in and discovers the village and its traditions. There, in this remote corner of the world, he will not only teach but also learn a great deal. In particular, he will discover the locals’ way of life, take part in the village festivals, and eventually become part of the community!

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director.
