The wool festival will be held at Kergleuden in Bannalec for the 5th time. This year we'll be welcoming a host of volunteers ready to introduce you to wool-processing techniques and farming know-how. All day long, you'll be able to watch the sheep being sheared, the fleeces being sorted, the wool being carded and spun by hand, and you'll have a guided tour of the farm from 1.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. As always, there will be a market of local producers and a market of wool artisans. Weaving workshops, creating a felt object (adults, children), introduction to wool processing, spinning wool with a spindle, wicker and rush basketry, felted and crocheted creations, introduction to crochet and knitting, grafting, hand mowing, farm tours, botanical walks, children's stories. To ensure that the workshops run smoothly, we have limited the number of places available. Please do not register for more than 2 workshops per person. It will still be possible to register at the entrance on the day of the festival for workshops that are not fully booked. There will be plenty of food and refreshments on site, including produce from local farms!
