Les jeudis de l’orgue

Every Thursday morning, from 10.30 am to 11.30 am, the organ at Saint-Idunet Church rings out in the heart of the market for an hour-long musical interlude. It’s a chance to let yourself be carried away by the sounds of the organ. This year, nine artists will take to the stage, either solo or in duets:

Thursday 30 July: Thierry Le Guern (organ)
A renowned organist and lecturer at the Regional Conservatoire, Thierry Le Guern will present a recital combining works by the great masters of the organ with contemporary repertoire. The programme will juxtapose works by John Bull, Purcell, Bach, Balbastre, Erik Satie and Louis Hardin (Moondog), before concluding with *Luminance*, an original composition that showcases the sounds of the Saint-Idunet organ.
