RHODODENRONS, A NATIONAL COLLECTION Visits, advice from enthusiasts, events for families... Throughout the rhododendron season, a series of events at the heart of the collection punctuate the dazzling spring flowering. Rhododendrons and azaleas have been there since the park was created in the Belle Époque, and once lined the main paths. Some of these trees are now over a hundred years old and can still be admired today. Today, with more than 600 varieties in the National Collection, the park offers a veritable palette of colours, spanning the entire rainbow and illustrating the diversity of the genus. The heady scent of deciduous azaleas mingles with the spicier foliage of alpine species, while delicate azaleas stand side by side with gigantic 'Broughtonii'! In partnership with the Société Bretonne du Rhododendron On the programme Throughout the "rhododendron" season, take a stroll through the heart of the collection, immerse yourself in a bath of colour, wander through the alleys of the park and rediscover a remarkable garden. Characteristics, special features, provenance, anecdotes... you can also discover all the riches of our beautiful collection in a treasure hunt!
