Poètes au village
Exhibition
The “A Poet in the Village” initiative is a unique exhibition of works to be discovered in the streets, at crossroads. Its aim is to bring poetry out onto the streets and allow residents and day-trippers to let their minds wander, strolling freely to discover these unpretentious little words, which bring a touch of light-heartedness during the summer season.
This year we have invited Ms Martine Thépaut, who expresses universal feelings in short, simple and sincere poems. Her texts are illustrated with her own photographs.
Furthermore, the schoolchildren are back. Indeed, the Year 6 class have put pen to paper to take part in the “Our Heritage in Poetry” competition, describing their local environment. It is worth noting that one of their entries has won first prize in the 7–11 age category.
Come and discover them all summer long as you wander through the town.
