Spectacle de Marionnettes : Le vilain petit canard

In their little hut, snug and warm, the duck family awaits the arrival of their young. What are they waiting for? Three eggs! I thought I'd laid two! Maybe I laid it in my sleep last night... And it's huge! But now some eggs are hatching... What's this strange duck? It's strange, it's too big, too fat, too grey! He needs to be made over! So begins the life of this ugly little duckling, who will become, as everyone knows, a marvellous and magnificent swan.

This adaptation of Andersen's fairy tale is about the prejudices we can have towards others when they are not like us. With the characters of the duck, the mole and the ogre, children discover the right to be different and understand that it sometimes takes time to realise oneself and change into a luminous being.
