Discover the picturesque charm of the smallest commune in the southern Bigouden region. Wander through the narrow streets steeped in history to discover traditional fishermen's cottages, old canneries and places to live. Admire the view from the peninsula to the Perdrix lighthouse, which watches over the mouth of the river at Pont-l'Abbé. Drop by the Kermor dyke to enjoy the calm of the Kersaux pond. This dyke enabled Île-Tudy to be linked to the rest of the continent in the 19th century. As you approach the tip of the island, stop off at the Maison de la Pointe to enjoy its exhibitions. Wear a helmet: it's compulsory for under-12s and highly recommended thereafter. Yellow waistcoats are compulsory outside built-up areas where visibility is poor. -Share the road and respect the rules: pedestrian areas, pavements. -Take something to eat and drink with you. Rules and good practice: -Make sure you don't leave any objects or rubbish behind: if there are no bins, take your rubbish with you. -Respect the fragile balance of flora and fauna in all areas. -Respect private property.
