Discover the Bigoudène countryside around Plozévet and its cultural heritage. The old railway line is a great way to warm up your legs so that you can enjoy the streams and wild beauty of the valleys a few miles further on. Start/Finish: Place Henri Normant car park Elevation: 65 m Direction of the route: anti-clockwise Markings: yellow PR and white-red GR®34 The markings on the ground always take precedence over paper or digital documents. Practical information: Toilets in the car park at Place Henri Normant Advice before setting off: Take something to eat (drinks, snacks). Remember to take a bag for your rubbish. Notice to walkers: In order to respect the natural environment you are walking through, it is essential to fit rubber tips to the ends of your walking poles. Repeated passage by walkers with unprotected walking poles can, in the medium term, have irreversible consequences such as soil and vegetation erosion, gully formation and widening of the path. Two crossings of the RD 2 road, some muddy sections possible in winter, option to shorten the circuit by 4 km by starting at Lostallen. Hiking with your dog Dogs are welcome on this circuit. Please be careful, as the circuit passes along busy roads where you must keep your dog on a leash. 1 Église Saint-Démet
Eglise dédiée à Saint Démet, saint celtique émigré d'outre Manche. Elle a été construite , entre le XIIIè et le début du XVIIIè siècle. Elle se place sous l'influence architecturale de l'école de Pont-Croix. A voir également, le calvaire, le monument aux morts, la dalle des Droits de l'Homme et la fontaine Saint Thélo. L'église et son enclos ont été inscrits à l'inventaire supplémentaire des monuments historiques en 1951.
2 Fontaine de Pistigou
L'eau de cette fontaine guérit les maux de ventre et les crises de foie. Elle dispose d'une statuette de granit, non christianisée.
3 Chapelle Saint-Démet
Chapelle du XVIè siècle dédiée à Saint-Démet, venu du Pays de Galles entre le Vè et le VIIè siècle et fondateur de la paroisse de Poe-Démet (maintenant appelée Plozévet).
