The Château de Trévarez stands in grounds of 85 hectares overlooking the Aulne Valley and marks the fulfilment of a dream. In 1893 James Kerjégu undertook to build a luxury, state-of-the-art residence during the exciting age of ‘La Belle Époque’. The gardens are recognised as both « Jardin remarquable » and « Jardin d’excellence » for its superb camelia collection.

Each year, Trévarez invites a contemporary artist to create a work conveying his/her own particular view of the estate, accompanied by an exhibition in the old stables. In winter the old stables are the venue for the annual Christmas event « Noël à Trévarez » devoted to creation and stories for children and adults.
