In this reimagined space, in the heart of Brest, in the Haut-Jaurès district, we are betting that art can connect, open up and transform.
La Piscine is a community space run by the not-for-profit organisation Human Soul, founded by two artists (Anne-Laure Maison & Michel Cam) for whom creating means giving a voice, a form and a presence to those who are not always heard.
Here, art is a universal language, a bond, a means of fostering dialogue between differences.
A space for experimentation, for listening, for otherness.
A place where boundaries fade away, where artists from here and elsewhere bring their visions together, and where the public is invited to dive, without fear, into the unknown.
La Piscine is a space to be filled with creations, stories and presences.
A place for new ideas to emerge and for people to come together, in a vibrant, working-class, cosmopolitan neighbourhood.
A place to question, to be moved, to imagine the world differently.
