The Bay of Morlaix Natura 2000 site is home to exceptional marine and coastal biodiversity. However, this wealth is still largely unknown to the general public. Between reefs, rocky reliefs and sandbanks, this underwater landscape may seem hostile from the surface... but in reality it is a mosaic of habitats teeming with life.

To reveal this invisible universe, Morlaix Communauté is offering an immersive virtual reality experience: Aboukir Bay, dive into the heart of the Baie de Morlaix Natura 2000 site. Accessible to all, you can explore a shipwreck at a depth of 25 metres... without getting wet!
An immersive 7-minute virtual reality film that plunges visitors 25 metres into the depths.
Realistic textures, soundscapes based on species sounds, narration and a complementary educational area make this an experience accessible to all audiences.

La Virgule in Morlaix: all year round (free)
Musée maritime in Carantec: during school holidays (included in admission ticket)
Recommended for children aged 8 and over (schoolchildren from CE2).
