Rando le long des Falaises de la Pointe du Raz
Hikes, Nature trips, Round trip / Tour
Explore the Pointe du Raz via the most scenic route: the customs officers’ path.
From the Monsieur Papier café and stationery shop – formerly the Relais de l’Île de Sein – set off in the footsteps of the old Bestrée jetty, once used by lighthouse keepers, fishermen and islanders. Approaching Pointe du Raz from the south offers a particularly spectacular route.
At the tip of the Pointe du Raz headland, a remarkable panorama opens out onto the Iroise Sea: its lighthouses, the island of Sein and, on a clear day, the island of Ouessant. The return journey follows the path running alongside the Baie des Trépassés, between cliffs and vast stretches of sea.
Depending on the season, it is also possible to spot black-legged gulls nesting on the cliffs.
