How do you carry on living when the unthinkable happens? Audrey Bonnet brings Sabine Garrigues’s text to the stage; it was written following the death of her daughter in the Bataclan attacks.

Born of a vital act of writing, this narrative in free verse, without punctuation, blends grief, love and the attempt to rebuild one’s life. It conveys the brutality of loss, but also the need to reinvent oneself in the face of absence. To bring it to life, the actress and director Audrey Bonnet has brought together eight young performers, all from the same generation as the young woman who was lost. Together, they deliver a fragmented narrative, imbued with a shared sense of urgency. Both sombre and luminous, the production gives voice to this raw, raw language, in which memory becomes an act of hope.
