Tyreek McDole | Musique

At just twenty-five years old, Tyreek McDole is making a name for himself on New York’s vibrant music scene. With several awards to his name (including the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Jazz Competition), the American-Haitian singer is a rising star in the world of jazz.

In June 2025, he released his debut album on the French label Artwork (“Open Up Your Senses”), on which he presents a style of jazz that skilfully blends tradition and innovation. Whilst he demonstrates a deep attachment to the traditional jazz repertoire and standards, particularly spirituals (Leon Thomas, Pharoah Sanders, Thelonious Monk, Jerry Livingston, Horace Silver…), he also embraces a more modern style of jazz infused with Caribbean rhythms.
