To explore not only avarice but also frugality, director Clément Poirée has devised a stingy production!

This ‘circular’ production of *The Miser* is staged using costumes and props brought in by the audience; these will subsequently be donated to local charities. On stage, the creative team – the actors as well as all the artistic staff who usually work behind the scenes – reinvents a unique production every evening.

In this legendary comedy from the repertoire, it’s a pleasure to rediscover the cruel and farcical character of Harpagon (played by John Arnold), Molière’s biting humour and language, as well as the joy of improvisation and the spirit of the troupe.
