Exposition au Café Marylène
Exhibition
"We’ll Take the Sea With Us" – Exhibition by Maud Veith from 13 September to 28 November
Opening on Sunday 13 September at 7.00 pm, as part of the I·C·E festival. Maud Veith is a documentary photographer based in Plougasnou. In her work, she focuses on female figures in contexts of political or social tension.
She has been invited to Café Marylène to present the early stages of a long-term photographic project. This project brings together testimonies from women living on the Breton coast and explores their relationship with exile and the sea.
Through photographic portraits and written accounts, Maud Veith traces the beginnings of her investigation. The women featured in this exhibition speak to us of journeys, mutual support, boredom, disappearances and miracles.
Visits by appointment from Wednesday to Saturday. Welcome and guided tours for groups, school groups, etc. by booking.
