Les Murmures du Musée

One evening, at the Museum of Fine Arts. The central character of this show is the museum itself… Fulfilling his most secret dream, an unauthorised night-time visitor is about to witness an extraordinary general meeting: as the collections are about to be moved, the chair of this gathering of extras – those who stir things up amongst the museum’s paintings – summons her troops for a late-night discussion.

The stakes are high: in which artwork will they take their place for the journey?

What follows are lively exchanges between these enigmatic characters, conversations interspersed with songs and readings (texts by authors or original creations) evoking a selection of paintings, reproductions of which will be projected onto a large screen.
This secret gathering of these quirky characters – for whom the settings of the paintings are, ultimately, nothing more than a playground – will conclude with the almost divine intervention of the museum, which will calm this little world with an irrefutable poem.
