Journées européennes du patrimoine – Dans la peau d’un marin pêcheur du 19e siècle

To mark European Heritage and Matrimoine Days, the museum’s outreach officer borrowed the Malle aux Sens® from the Douarnenez Maritime Festivals Association – funded by the Brittany Region – to offer visitors to these exceptional annual events the chance to step into the world of an early 19th-century fisherman. This was a wonderful opportunity for participants to gain an appreciation of how fishing techniques have evolved in the Cornouaille region of Brittany, ahead of the opening of the 2026 temporary exhibition.
