Who said a drumming demonstration had to be serious? Following on from their smash-hit show ‘Incredible Drum Show’, Les Fils Monkey have created a version just for children – even more dynamic, fun and accessible… It’s called Boom Boom Kids! And it’s another duo of drummers, just as mad and swashbuckling as the original, who take on the coveted role of the ‘naughty kids’ at the back of the class.
On stage, behind, on top of and in front of their drum kits, they play with drumsticks of all sizes (even giant ones), ping-pong and tennis bats, boomwhackers and the hang. The Boom Boom Kids have the time of their lives, delivering a duel of rhythmic antics in abundance and with pinpoint precision. And without even realising it, you learn… a great deal.
A musical, funny and poetic journey into the heart of rhythm and percussion… adults not allowed!
