Rencontre orchestre

For the first time, the two orchestras from the Pays d’Iroise are sharing the stage and a joint programme. The Saint Renan Animation Orchestra, conducted by Philippe Gouret, and the music school orchestra, conducted by Pierre Lucas, will perform a repertoire of film scores and arrangements of pop and classical standards for concert band. This ensemble, comprising woodwinds, brass and percussion, is complemented by strings, piano, guitar and bass, and occasionally an accordion, depending on which musicians are present. The sixty or so musicians on stage will put on a magnificent show, visually and musically impressive, enhanced by accompanying video projections. Infectious energy and a range of emotions are guaranteed.
