Simone and Jacques are polar opposites, yet they meet by chance late one evening in a deserted bar at Gare de l’Est.

He is a slightly old-fashioned star presenter, whilst she is a lost, colourful and very naive young woman who doesn’t recognise the presenter. The waiter, as clingy as he is chatty – and a fan of Jacques’s – will have no qualms about thrusting himself into the midst of this unlikely couple. With the help of alcohol, Simone and Jacques will, without realising it, grow closer. A lot closer… A bit too close, even…

But after such a drunken night, waking up in Jacques’s flat is bound to be difficult, memorable and explosive! ... He can’t remember a thing – not who this hyperactive, love-struck girl is who’s turned up at his place, nor even that he gave his address to the barman, who, of course, doesn’t miss the chance to turn up…
