WINTER NIGHT IN LANDERNEAU: AN UNMISSABLE WINTER DESTINATION IN FINISTÈRE!
Following the success of the last ten editions, Winter Night has become an unmissable highlight of the festive season in Finistère. For a whole month, magic takes hold of the ‘City of the Moon’. As night falls, the town dons its finest lights, with illuminations adorning the banks of the River Elorn, the ‘Pont Habité’, Place Saint-Thomas, the pedestrianised streets and more… Nuit d’Hiver invites the public to stroll around and discover the town’s remarkable heritage, transformed by an original, colourful artistic display.

The 2026 theme: A colourful winter!
As night falls, the city dons its finest lights, with illuminations adorning the banks of the Elorn, the ‘inhabited’ bridge and the pedestrianised streets…

Nine light installations highlight several key sites: the Hélène and Édouard Leclerc Foundation, Saint-Houardon Church, Rue de la Fontaine Blanche, Place Général de Gaulle, the Rohan Bridge, Place des 4 Pompes, Saint-Thomas Church, and the quays of Léon and Cornouaille. The façade of the Duchess Anne’s house will feature a giant, festive and colourful video mapping display. The illuminations can be explored by following a route from the Leclerc Collection to the Galerie
de Rohan and back, or by wandering at your leisure from street to street.

The programme of events organised by the Town of Landerneau and its partners will be unveiled in mid-November…
