Art’Ria, Le Dessus des Halles, espace d’art contemporain

Founded in 2009 by a group of artist friends living in Audierne or Cap Sizun, ART'Ria is an association resolutely focused on the discovery of contemporary artistic creation. The contemporary art space Le Dessus Des Halles sits like a huge boat on the roof of Les Halles, just a stone's throw from the Audierne quayside. The room is big, warm and welcoming, with a succession of local, professional - sometimes even international - and amateur artists. Le Dessus Des Halles is a real social hub, a place for sharing and creating, an exhibition space that showcases the eclecticism of artists who are sometimes reassuring, sometimes disconcerting, but always fascinating. Each year, RT'Ria invites 6 artists for a 6-week solo exhibition and organises a themed group exhibition.
