Climb Up Brest

Whilst the Ateliers des Capucins, which are naturally elevated, already give us a sense of height, Climb Up Brest takes it even further: up to 15.5 metres for the tallest routes. The innovative concept behind Climb Up, France’s largest indoor climbing centre, is naturally particularly well suited to the Ateliers. Two Olympic disciplines are on offer here (rope climbing and bouldering).

To ensure everyone can enjoy themselves, a ‘Fun Climbing’ area (recreational climbing for children aged 4 and over) is available by booking, as well as a relaxation area with a sauna and a snack bar.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve, a range of classes and courses are offered on an ad hoc or regular basis (over a term or a year, depending on age) throughout the year, for children aged 3 and over.

It is also possible to climb with assistance using the Footing Vertical system. This system takes the strain off the climber by up to 95 per cent of their body weight. This means that people with disabilities, those who are overweight, the elderly or those undergoing rehabilitation can now discover climbing gently and at their own pace.
