Le Domaine de Menez Meur

In the heart of the Monts d'Arrée, the Domaine de Menez Meur (home of the Parc d'Armorique) offers a range of activities all year round to help you discover the region's natural and cultural heritage.

Animal treasure hunts, guided walks, birdwatching, initiation to Breton dance, creative workshops... There's something for everyone!

There are four trails where you can meet Breton Pie Noir cows, Ouessant sheep, Western white pigs and other local breeds bred on the estate. At the educational farm, you can even feed them! The estate is also home to wolves and deer, which you can see up close.

Moors, rocky ridges, hedged farmland... With 16 km of footpaths and 4 discovery trails, the estate is the ideal place for family walks all year round. The roc'h offers a 360° panoramic view of the Monts d'Arrée and, on a clear day, the harbour at Brest!

To help you discover the animal and plant species that live on the moors and in the forest, two backpacks containing observation equipment and educational materials are available free of charge from reception!

An exhibition and a variety of activities will take you back over 500 million years of geological history that has shaped the Armorican landscapes.

Located in Hanvec, the Menez Meur estate is the largest sensitive natural area in the Finistère department, covering 680 hectares.

The estate has a picnic area, a zip line, play areas for children and a shop selling local produce.

The Parc d'Armorique manages the Menez Meur estate with the support of the Département of Finistère, which owns the site, and the Brittany Region.
