Since 1987, with only two summers without a show (1993 and 2020), the ENVIRONNEMENT & PATRIMOINE association has organised its summer painting show.

These 38 shows have welcomed more than 400 artists, both professional and amateur, some from Kerlouan and the Pays Pagan, others from other French regions, and still others from European countries.
This ephemeral museum offers visitors a chance to dream or relax, and to discover 52 very different forms of expression in Brittany.

51 artists surround Claire TROADEC, the guest of honour at Salon 2026: an artist of Léonarde origin who spent her first 7 years in Africa, drawing soon became a natural language for her. For more than twenty years, she illustrated motifs for ceramics, then pursued her career as a colourist and decorator, refining her relationship with colour in space and in her relationship with others. In 2013, she returned to painting through collage. After a period devoted to pastels, she now chooses oil paint for its depth, slowness and richness of material. Somewhere between memory and sensation, her paintings seek less to describe us than to bring out an emotion. The North Finistère region, where she spends part of the year, deeply nourishes her work. There, she captures a kind of harshness and melancholy, reflected in palettes that are often muted and pierced by light.
