Bird photography

Who hasn't had the dream of Icarus, to fly freely under his own power like a bird? If the dream cannot be fulfilled, there is still contemplation and admiration.
Scientists now agree that contemplating the beauty of nature has a positive effect on our organism. The prefrontal cortex is stimulated, making us more confident, joyful and serene. The intelligence of the 'right brain' is strengthened, blood pressure is lowered...

So it's never a waste of time to observe our bird companions. Some are there every day, very close to us, while others, rarer, visit us as tourists or spend a season with us.

Observation can lead to photography, firstly to remember a beautiful encounter, but also to enrich the vision of the moment. In this way, the beauty of the movement of a bird as it flies develops and allows the eye, through the photograph, to discover marvellous postures.

This exhibition is in three parts:
- a series of 10 large-format prints on the theme of flight, the poetry of movement offered by birds in their daily flights
- a series of three panels presenting local birds, with 33 photos taken in the garden, in the bocage or by the sea, all in the vast area of Fouesnant
- an animation on tablet to learn or test your knowledge of bird songs
