Brest fête la Marine – 400 ans de la Marine à Brest
Children, Concert, Dance, Fête, March past Procession Parade, Maritime festivals, Miscellineous, Show
In 2026, the French Navy celebrates 400 years of history. To mark the occasion, Brest en vue and the French Navy are co-organising "Brest fête la Marine", a free, popular event with a real ambition: to shine the spotlight on the French Navy, a major player in Brest. The Quai Malbert will host a lively village of workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, meetings and visits to emblematic boats, including the Belem, the Étoile, the Mutin and a BSAM from the French Navy. Concerts, shows, musical entertainment and a "guinguette" area will round off this convivial programme, true to the art of living in Brest. This celebration will also mark a key milestone before the Fêtes maritimes de Brest next year and the 400ᵉ anniversary of the Brest naval base in 2031.
