Concert de chorales
Concert
The Kanerien Lanveneg choir invites Les Voix de L'est. 100 choristers will sing in the church of Locmaria-Plouzané! The Kanerien Lanveneg choir is a group of 39 people who have come together in friendship for the pleasure of singing under the direction of Danielle Corre, These choir members from Lanveneg sing exclusively in the Breton language, and are keen to promote and share it with the public. Their ambition is to offer a varied repertoire: religious, traditional, contemporary and Welsh choral music. The men's choir "Les Voix de l'Est" was founded in 2014 as part of the "Mines en Choeurs" association, of which we are all members. It is made up of a dozen choristers from a variety of musical backgrounds and directed by Mr André KOGOVSEK. As the sons of blue-collar workers from European immigrant families, Lorraine has been the home of our expatriate parents, and choral singing has often been a source of comfort and solidarity. The choir sings a capella in four voices, in a range that includes tenors, baritones and basses. It sings traditional and popular songs from around the world, in Slovenian, Croatian, Dalmatian, Russian, Italian, Sardinian, Sicilian, English, Gaelic, Basque, Cajun, German, Swedish & French (a little bit).
