Vivaldi, Telemann and Rameau meet Celtic music!
Between Celtic lands and the Baroque repertoire, this programme offers a free and sensitive journey, like a musical stroll where the boundaries become blurred.
The great works of the Baroque are approached in a different way: sometimes stripped down, sometimes reinvented, they are tinged with new colours, carried by traditional instruments and unexpected timbres. Some well-known pieces are transformed in this way, gliding from one universe to another with an almost natural ease.
Mirroring this repertoire are tunes from Celtic traditions - old melodies, popular songs or themes that have become emblematic - in a close dialogue of language that surprises as much as it seduces.
The low whistle, at the heart of this journey, brings a singular sound, at once intimate and full, capable of making familiar pages hear differently as well as revealing all the depth of these tunes from elsewhere.
This programme is not an attempt to juxtapose two worlds, but to reveal what links them: the same simplicity, the same evocative power, the same taste for dance, melody and breath.
A suspended moment, between heritage and reinvention, where the music moves freely - like a landscape through which you never really know where it begins or ends.
