LEGENDS OF THE SEA is an invitation to travel to the heart of the mysteries and tales of the Breton coast, with songs, tales and organ.

Performed by Sylvain Pias, singer and narrator, and Gwenaël Riou, organist and musicologist, the show brings to life the legends of Brittany in a poetic, immersive and deeply moving atmosphere.

Missing sailors, storms, pardons, mysterious creatures, folk tales and songs inspired by Breton traditions suddenly come to life in a gripping dialogue between voice and organ.

Gwenaël RIOU - Organ

Through his improvisations and expressive playing, Gwenaël RIOU transforms the organ into a veritable soundscape.
The depths of Breton chapels seem to echo beneath his fingers, giving the stories an immersive dimension.

Sylvain PIAS - Singing & storytelling

An opera singer with a singular career path, Sylvain PIAS brings folk tales and traditional Breton songs back to life with intensity and emotion.
His voice, sometimes powerful, sometimes intimate, draws the audience into a world filled with legends, maritime memories and emotions from the sea.
