Spectacle : Asambles

Asambles is a stage collaboration between the three Celtic circles of the Poher region.
All three were founded after the war and are among the oldest groups in Brittany. Without interruption since 1947, the Celtic circles of Carhaix, Rostrenen and Spézet have been working to promote the rich cultural heritage of Central Brittany at festivals and celebrations both here and abroad. Committed to upholding the traditions of their region, they pass on the richness of traditional dances and costumes from one generation to the next through lively and innovative choreographic creations.
The groups from the Poher region regularly take part in the National Breton Dance Championship, where they are no strangers to the podium.
This gathering also serves as a wonderful introduction to these clubs, which have celebrated or will soon celebrate their 80th anniversaries.
Asambles, the Poher dances together. Gavotte!

Bookings can be made through the three Celtic dance groups for dancers’ families, and at the Espace Glenmor for the general public.
