Exposition Loustal à la Salle Anne de Bretagne

Loustal, a comic book artist, works extensively as an illustrator for the publishing industry (notably on the works of George Simenon), the press (The New Yorker, Senso, etc.) and in marketing (designing tourist information boards for the APRR motorways in the Savoie region), and regularly exhibits his paintings at the Huberty Breyne gallery, which has branches in Paris and Brussels.

Les Cahiers Dessinés recently dedicated a book to this significant aspect of his work, entitled ‘Peintures’.

A keen traveller, he brings back sketchbooks from his journeys, first published by Éditions du Seuil and now by Éditions de la Table Ronde: ‘Dessins d’ailleurs’, ‘Esprits d’ailleurs’ and ‘Aux antipodes’.
