Exposition – Nazeem #WCA2
Exhibition
A leading figure on the Brest graffiti scene is joining us for a special exhibition.
Born in 1972 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, to an Indian Muslim father and a Vietnamese mother of Buddhist heritage, Nazeem has been deeply influenced by the iconography arising from this cultural blend. The result is a highly varied body of work, enriched by Western visual culture, and particularly by graffiti art, within which he has developed his craft as part of various crews.
Since 1992, alongside commissions for set designs, murals and illustrations, Nazeem has been developing his calligraphic style based on gestural movement.
He thus presents an exhibition comprising exclusive works entitled “In the middle of the 5th cycle” / “Even for a swordsman… It hurts!”.
From Friday 4 September 2026 at 6.30 pm.
