With Grand Jacques, we rediscover Jacques Brel’s lyrics; we experience them. For Jean Sébastien Richard on vocals and Yann Simon on electric guitar deliver a performance that is deeply personal, vibrant, often light-hearted, and always moving.
The rock energy, ingrained in the very DNA of the songs, becomes self-evident thanks to this close-knit duo, who send sailors, notaries, lovers, fools and the like whirling from Brussels to Warsaw… This isn’t about glorifying an idol, but rather an invitation to come and share, to let yourself be swept away, to laugh… And to sing!
