This performance takes the audience on an intimate, documentary-style and poetic journey through the lives of women connected to the ocean and to loss. The testimonies of these seafarers’ wives, from the Basque Country and Brittany, are interwoven with that of Pasiphaé, the actress and co-writer of the show. Through this one-woman show, she brings to life a multitude of voices and realities, through speech and dance, but also through the landscapes she creates. The space transforms into a kitchen, a lighthouse, a boat or the ocean floor, and at the intersection of images and movements, a sensitive exploration of romantic relationships, gender dynamics and the emotion evoked by the ocean unfolds.
