“La presse est unanime” de Laurent Ruquier
Théâtre
Stéphanie Grumet, a much-loved actress who has been absent from the screen for several years, is making her big comeback to the cinema. But in the small world of critics and press officers, a single article can make or break a career… And when the press gets involved, truths come to light, jealousies flare up and friendships are laid bare.
Amidst vanity, dirty tricks and fits of laughter, Laurent Ruquier delivers a sparkling comedy that paints a scathing portrait of the media world and its excesses. First staged in 2002 at the Théâtre des Variétés, ‘La presse est unanime’ is Laurent Ruquier’s debut play. It enjoyed great success for several months. Steevy Boulay reprises his role 23 years on in this new production!
A whirlwind of humour and misunderstandings that will make you see criticism in a whole new light!
