L’Atelier des Songes

At the heart of the stage stands a monumental cube, 2.50 metres on a side. Concealed in the semi-darkness, it gradually reveals itself, like a performer. It is a mobile, unstable framework – at times a habitat, at times an obstacle – within which the bodies move. The dancers take turns shifting from artists to visible technicians, moving or still, constantly blurring the lines.

At the crossroads of dance, circus and magic, within a multifaceted set design, this show explores the gestures of the craftsman – the artist in their studio, torn between inspiration and execution.
