A musical reading by Olivier Martinaud and Nicolas Repac.

As part of “Des idées au Fonds”: A series of lectures, round-table discussions, readings, meetings, films…

The actor and director Olivier Martinaud and the musician and composer Nicolas Repac are developing a collaborative project at the crossroads of literature and music. Together, they are creating *La Maison de Julien Gracq*, a musical reading conceived at the Villa Médicis in 2024, which will subsequently be presented at the Jan Michalski Foundation. Drawing on Gracq’s texts, they have devised a format in which voice and music interplay, blending reading, soundscape and live composition.

This collaboration continued in 2026, focusing on Jean Genet with *L’Atelier d’Alberto Giacometti*, premiered at the Giacometti Foundation and subsequently performed at the Maison de la Poésie and the Maeght Foundation. With *Le Journal d’Andy Warhol*, they offer a new journey: a night spent in Warhol’s diary, amidst confidences, portraits, parties and scenes from New York life, where one might also encounter a few ghosts from the Velvet Underground.

In-person event. No booking required; admission subject to the exhibition’s visiting conditions.
