Les Expériences Brestoises – Les perles de la rade : balade nature en kayak

Discover all the secrets of Brest Harbour on this ‘slow tourism’-certified nature excursion, ‘The Pearls of the Harbour’, with Brest Bretagne Nautisme.
Aboard a kayak, on calm waters, you’ll get a close-up view of the rich underwater flora and fauna, guided by Eric, your nature guide.
Once you’re kitted out and the brief briefing is over, we’ll set off from Moulin Blanc for a leisurely paddle, stopping for a ‘landscape interpretation’ session to appreciate Brest from the harbour and understand what has shaped this landscape.
Depending on the sea currents and the tide, we’ll beach the kayaks on the red-sand beach to enjoy a gourmet tasting of local, artisanal produce with a panoramic view of the bridges of Plougastel-Daoulas. Return to Moulin Blanc.

Equipment provided: kayak, wetsuit, lifejacket
Items to bring: sunglasses (secured), cap, sun cream, swimwear, windbreaker, slippers or old trainers, towel. You may bring a small microfibre towel
