Les journées du patrimoine à Fouesnant-les Glénan : visite du phare de Penfret

On 19 and 20 September 2026, the European Heritage Days will take place in Penfret, an island in the Glénan archipelago.
Come and spend a day with the Les Glénans water sports centre, enjoying site tours and visiting the various organisations’ stands. Free event.

On the programme:
A tour of Penfret Lighthouse and Fort.
Organised by the ‘Plein phare sur Penfret’ association.
A guided tour of the island and the semaphore station. ‘
Life in Penfret: stories from yesterday and today’.
Organised by the Les Glénans sailing school.
Birdwatching activities. Organised by Bretagne Vivante.
Audiovisual screenings. Organised by Les Glénans.
Charity stalls: Les Glénans sailing school, Bretagne Vivante, Plein phare sur Penfret, SNSM.
The welcome area, charity stalls, audiovisual screenings and the Penfret footpaths are free to access.
No catering is available on site. Picnic tables are available.

Guided tours and activities:
Register for tours on arrival at Penfret at the Welcome Centre, located at the “Maison des gardiens”.

- Lighthouse tours every 20 minutes and guided tours of the fort in small groups along the water’s edge. Departure: Penfret Lighthouse

- Guided tours: “Life at Penfret: stories of yesterday and today”.
Departure: Maison des gardiens.
Saturday: 10.30 am, 2.00 pm.
Sunday: 10.30 am

- Birdwatching activities every 30 minutes.
