It’s Halloween… but on the foreshore, the strangest stories are sometimes true!

Who pierces the shells to devour them? Who eats the carcasses? How does an anemone capture its meal with its tentacles? Who is hiding under the rocks? And does this abandoned claw belong to a dead animal or simply to a crab that has moulted?

For two hours, let’s set off in search of the strangest creatures on the foreshore and the clues they leave behind. Pierced shells, crabs, prawns, anemones, worms and other tiny creatures will help us investigate: who eats whom on the foreshore?

When conditions allow, we’ll also observe how an anemone feeds.

No need for imaginary monsters: at low tide, nature already has everything it takes to give us a few shivers!
