Every year, L’Archipel presents an artist’s perspective on contemporary printmaking. The selection for this sixth edition, curated by Jaga Jankowska Cappigny, brings together twelve artists who are either foreign nationals or of foreign origin and living in France: Asareh Akasheh, Ali Arkady, Victoria Arney, Cassandre Boucher, Wernher Bouwens, Baptiste Caccia, Maggie Cardelús, Anna Ladecka, Flora Nguyen, Léa Rivera Hadjes, Suo Yuan Wang and Misha Zavalny.

Through their own artistic intentions, aesthetics and techniques*, each artist creates a dialogue between their culture of origin and their adopted culture. This edition of Morsure explores how displacement or exile can influence an artist’s creative process and artistic vision.

The exhibition is punctuated by events offering the chance to discover the inner workings of the creative process, to appreciate the decidedly playful nature of printmaking techniques, and to discuss the themes explored, featuring:
- the Morsure #6 Opening Weekend, on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October: guided tours, workshops, talks…
- ‘Déplacement(s)’, on Saturday 7 November: guided tours, workshops, games, a lecture…
