Paléocéan 3D : à la découverte des animaux marins disparus

A journey back to the Cambrian period, 505 million years ago, when the Earth resembled a mineral desert and the ocean was home to marine species with shapes that were sometimes bewildering. A period sometimes referred to as the ‘Big Bang of life’, still regarded as an unrivalled surge in the emergence of species.

On the big screen and in 3D, visitors will discover, accompanied by a science guide, extinct species such as the strange shrimp Anomalocaris or the worm Hallucigenia, which, along with a host of other species, contributed to the emergence of anatomical structures essential to the development of today’s animal lineages.
A way of understanding the evolution of species and the vulnerability of our biodiversity.
