At the dawn of the 20ᵉ century, France was experiencing a period of artistic effervescence and elegance that would later be known as the Belle Époque. Salons, café-concerts and opera stages were buzzing with new musical colours, oscillating between impressionist refinement, intimate lyricism and witty popular songs. This recital is an invitation to explore this rich soundscape, where poetry and music respond to each other with delicacy.
