Spectacle – Celles qui veillent
Concert, Show
"Those Who Watch" by Anne Borlée is a story told and sung, based on historical events concerning the trials and executions of women known as ‘witches’ in the Belgian countryside in the 17th century, "She emerged from the forest in the morning mist, her eyes dry. Dry from the dust of the paths she had travelled so often, dry from the smoke of too many pyres. But she was determined. The thread of tradition shall not be broken. She will see to that. They will see to that.”
To extend the experience, there will be an opportunity to meet the audience after the performance.
This storytelling afternoon is organised in partnership with the ADAO association and the Grande Marée Festival, as part of its outreach programme.
Duration: 1 hour.
