“Before us, a puppet theatre; a portable stage, a puppet theatre on a human scale… featuring a multitude of frames, trapdoors and skylights. Here a foot takes shape, there an arm, then over there a face. A tiny, tiny castle whose windows reveal, bit by bit, limb by limb, some elusive actress – or acrobat? Or perhaps a dancer? A magician, a trapeze artist, a contortionist? Or perhaps a monster in the wardrobe? This tiny kingdom, however, seems surprisingly well-populated…

Blending acrobatics, theatre, aerial arts and song into a single dynamic, *My Kingdom for a Horse* envisions itself as a total spectacle – comic, lyrical, dreamlike… all within a single square metre."
