The Fonds Hélène & Édouard Leclerc pour la Culture is dedicated to all forms of art. By organising large-scale exhibitions, the FHEL aims to make contemporary art accessible to a wide audience and to present artistic expressions that are emblematic of our time. 1,500,000 visitors to Landerneau: Since it opened in 2012, the FHEL has welcomed over 1,500,000 visitors! While it has become a meeting place for lovers of contemporary art, the site welcomes an increasingly varied and numerous public, of all ages and from all walks of life. Every year, a new temporary exhibition takes over the 1,200 m² Great Hall. Retrospective: The FHEL has hosted works by Joan Miró in 2013, Alberto Giacometti in 2015, Marc Chagall in 2016, Pablo Picasso in 2017, Enki Bilal in 2021, Ernest Pignon-Ernest in 2022, and more recently John Howe, illustrator of the works of Tolkien.
