Mégalithes de la Torche

Beg an Dorchenn (Pointe de la Torche). At the top of the headland lies a megalithic ensemble comprising a compartmentalised chamber and passage grave, which is more than 6,000 years old, plus a more recent extension. Excavations uncovered human bones from the Neolithic age. To the east of the dolmen there is a shell midden left by Mesolithic ‘shellfish eaters’ more than 8,000 years ago.
